The Ministry of Health announced today (28.08.2020) that in the last 24 hours 112 new cases of infection and 5 losses of life have been registered in Albania, as a result of Covid-19.
In the last 24 hours, 132 citizens have won the battle with the disease, the authorities added.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 71 cases in Tirana, 9 cases in Durres, 5 cases in Elbasan, 4 cases in Kruja, Kurbin, Lezha, Kavaja, 3 cases in Fier, 2 cases in Berat, 1 case each in Shkodra, Devoll, Has, Lushnje, Gjirokastra, Vora.
132 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of the healed patients to 4923, since the beginning of the epidemic.
