Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu, said today during the online communication in the meeting of the Technical Committee of Experts, that the strategy of the experts worked and this is shown by the results so far.

“The health system functioned in all its links, from public health, to the emergency service. Today is the ninth day without loss of life and this fact makes us happy, every lost life is painful”, she stated.

Otherwise, the Technical Committee of Experts called by Prime Minister Rama, has suggested continuing with the reopening strategy, considering that the current situation of COVID19 is stable, but will be assessed according to the dynamics and indicators.

“The situation seems to be well under control, the further indicators would be the number of young infected people, the number of hospitalized and those in need of intensive care. If we had over 15 positive daily cases on average, 90 hospitalizations, or 20 citizens in intensive care, we would have to stay put. Today we have 11 positive daily cases and an average of 30 hospitalizations. Fortunately, we have not reached the indicators that prevent the opening “, said prof. Mira Rakacolli, in the capacity of chairwoman of the Technical Committee of Experts.
