The Ministry of Health said today (Tuesday, August 19, 2020) that during the last 24 hours 932 tests have been performed and 155 people infected with Covid-19 have been confirmed.
Unfortunately the battle with Covid-19 was lost by two infected women. Despite the efforts of doctors, unfortunately in the two COVID hospitals, two citizens from Tirana, a 61-year-old and a 69-year-old woman with a concomitant disease, could not win the battle with the disease.
The geographical distribution of daily cases is as follows: 34 cases in Tirana, 24 in Durrës, 12 cases in Kruja, 9 cases in Korça and Lezha, 8 cases in Elbasan, 7 cases in Kurbin and Vlora, 6 cases in Gjirokastra, 4 cases in Kukës, from 3 cases in Fier, Kavaja, Përmet, from 2 cases in Shkodër, Devoll, Lushnje, Mirëditë, Tropojë, Mallakastër, Divjakë, Peqin, Kolonjë, Gramsh, from 1 case in Mat, Ura Vajgurore, Klos, Vora , Maliq, Patos.
