Democratic Party oppositon leader Lulzim Basha has been fined for violating pandemic restriction rules after joining the rally against the government’s decision on the demolition of the National Theater building.
Police have also fined and withdrawn driving licenses for 40 other people, including many artists who showed solidarity with the theater’s building protection.
Earlier yesterday, Basha was fined for meeting with citizens in Durrës where the rules of social distancing were violated.
