Through a Facebook post, EU Ambassador to Tirana Luigi Soreca stated that the Albanian government has approved financial assistance of 180 million euros to be provided by the European Union for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Soreca clarified that these funds will contribute to strengthening public finances, increasing social protection and also fighting corruption.
“The Government of Albania has approved the financial assistance of 180 million euros insured by the European Union, as part of the support in the fight against Covid-19. These funds will contribute to the strengthening of public finances, increasing social protection and fighting corruption”, said Soreca.
