The Technical Committee of Medical Experts has met to talk about the circulation of new variants of Covid-19 and the recent increase of new daily cases.
Spokeswoman Albana Fico said that the restrictive measures have not changed, while adding that the municipalities with the highest virus incidence are Saranda, Himara, Shkodra, Tirana and Vlora.
“The 35-65 age group has a significant increase in infection. The municipalities with the highest incidence are Saranda, Himara, Shkodra, Tirana and Vlora. Problematic cases should be addressed to the emergency number 127.
“During this period, the vaccination of the population has continued with intensity. August was the open month of vaccination, September will continue to be an open month. The implementation of measures should be strengthened, first of all by law enforcement institutions and citizens who should understand that the use of the mask, distancing and hygiene should remain at the same level. Please get vaccinated!”, said Fico, among other things.
