The number of people affected by Covid-19 in Albania has reached 548, as 9 people have been infected in the last 24 hours.
The news was announced by the Ministry of Health, who added that a total of 5311 tests have been performed in our country.
Meanwhile, according to the ministry, 19 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of the healed to 302.
Announcement of the Health Ministry:
In the last 24 hours, 231 people suspected of carrying the virus were tested. From the test results 9 new positive cases with COVID19 were confirmed. Of the new cases, 5 were confirmed in Kurbin, 2 in Kukës, 1 case in Tirana, 1 case in Fier.
So far, 5311 suspected cases have been tested and of them, 548 cases have been confirmed positive, i.e. about 10% of all those tested.
Currently in our country there are 220 actively infected people and as can be seen, the number of recovered is higher, and this trend has been continuing for the last 7 days. To date, 26 citizens have lost the battle with this disease, despite efforts of medical staff.
