15 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours in Albania.
10 of them are in Tirana, 2 in Kamza and 3 in Shkodra.
The Ministry of Health informs that the two cases in Kamza were found positive after attending a funeral ceremony.
Dr. Eugena Tomini from the Institute of Public Health provided more details:
“In the last 24 hours, 162 tests were performed, of which 15 positive cases were confirmed, respectively, 10 cases in Tirana, 3 cases in Shkodra and 2 in Kamza, all family contacts and new cases discovered in the investigation process.
“Two positive cases in the Municipality of Kamza have been identified after a funeral ceremony, so once again the Ministry of Health and Social Protection reminds citizens that funerals beyond close family circles are not allowed, as they are a risk for the spread of the infection.
“All kinds of activities with mass gatherings of people continue to be banned, so we plead for the observance of the measures in force.
