The Court of Serious Crimes has rejected the request for a shorter sentence, made by the three teenagers accused for the murder of the police
agent Roland Likaj in Vlore, last year.

The Court declared that the
process must continue with the trial. The Court removed all
possibilities for a shorter sentence. The defendants are the 18-year-old Saleo Stojani, one of the most notorious names of ordinary crime in Albania, after committing a great number of thefts.

The prosecutor Xhevat Hana read the trial request, accusing Jetnor Nakoleci, who has admitted the murder, of murder with special circumstances. While for Saleo Stojani and Eridon Zeqo, the prosecution has raised the charges for failing to report the crime.

The three defendants of this process were trying to steal a residence in Vlore last year. The police agent intervened and tried to arrest them. One of the defendants, Nakoleci, was able to shoot the agent with a bullet in the head. The authors were discovered by the police only after five months, when one relative reported them to the police.
