Court of Tirana finds Gjika innocent

The Court of Tirana has declared the Mayor of Vlore, Shpetim Gjika, innocent over “document forgery” charges.
Gjika was accused of intervening in the documents of the Vlore National Council of Territory Regulation, by giving permits for two buildings in the coastal town, for which the Prosecution requested four years in prison.
The Court of Tirana found innocent even the other defendants, Blerdi Licaj, Gentian Sherifaj, Eleni Dardha.
The Court has also removed the orders for demolishing the apartment buildings in question.
