The Court of Tirana issued a verdict that forces Facebook, based in
California, USA, to give the IP of a user who has allegedly abused with
the publishing of photos on behalf of someone else.
Mateo Shaba, administrator of the Farka Administrative Unit, ahs reported an identified person who uses a Facebook profile with the name “Ergi Sina”, has published pictures of the plaintiff and statuses that offered jobs at the institution where Shaba is employed.
Due to his public post, Mateo Shaba has immediately made a report at the Prosecution, which has requested the Court to force Facebook to hand over the data.
The Ministry of Justice is expected to get engaged for the implementation of this decision.
