The Court of Appeal left Emiljano Shullazi in prison. The Court reviewed
his lawyers’ request with the argument that the Prosecution’s
accusations for extortion are not proven.

The lawyers claim that their client, and people close to him, were arrested illegally.

Shullazi has filed a request in which he says he doesn’t want to be present at the session. He was represented by his lawyers.

The same security measure was given for Blerim shullazi, who is accused of extortion, property destruction, threats, etc.

Shullazi was arrested on April 17th after the former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, declared that he had threatened Mynyr Koni, then candidate for Rector of the Tirana University, now elected.

Koni admitted he was threatened, but he insisted that he did not recognize the criminals.
