The Administrative Court of Appeal heard this Tuesday Sazan Guri, expert summoned for the construction of the Namazgja mosque.
The expert was requested by the plaintiffs, the Institution of National Matters. He declared that if the mosque is built in the city center, the flux of 2000 a day will be disrupted, causing heavy traffic and increasing pollution.
The civil society wants to repeal the decision of 2013 for the builting fo the municipality, and returning the area into a green space, as it used to be.
This case was initially opened at the Tirana Civil Court, but later passed to the Administrative Court, since it refers to the repealing of an administrative act.
