Court left Mayor of Kavaja in house arrest

Judge Dritan Caka signed this Thursday the release of the Mayor of
Kavaja, Elvis Rroshi, after he was taken under custody accused of
forging documents.

The Court left him in house arrest with the arguments that he has two minor children at home, his father with hemodialysis and Rroshi is the only working person in the household.

Rroshi’s lawyer, Theodhori Sollaku, said that he is not happy with the measure, and that they will challenge the decision at the Court of Appeal.
