The Court of Serious Crimes gave the security measure in absence for the
44-year-old Arben Frroku, the main suspect for the murder of Chief
Dritan Lamaj.

The decision was given by Judge Etleva Deda, who admitted the Prosecution’s request.

The Prosecutors brought evidence that implicate the businessman for this murder, but due to the secrecy of the investigations they were not made public to the media.

Prosecutors are still not sure what to do with the other citizen arrested in Greece, Jak Mark Jaku, who was also suspected for the murder.

The Police declared yesterday through Spokesperson Tefik Sulejmani that the preliminary investigations suggest that Arben Preng Frroku and Jak Mark Jaku are the main suspects for this murder.

However, the Prosecution considered this declaration as non official and rushed, since they had not finished with other secret measures, such as surveillances and collection of other evidence.

The Police arrested Jaku in Greece, after cooperating immediately with the Greek authorities. They also arrested Jaku’s brother.

Frroku’s son: “My father is innocent

The son of the main suspect on Dritan Lamaj’s case, Grand Frroku, declared that his father is innocent and the police is abusing with the case.

Frroku’s son says that on 24 February 2013, his father was in Lac, following the match between Kamza and Terbuni, as president of the Puka football club.

After the match Frroku had travelled to a relative in Thessalonica, Greece, and according to the son this coincidence of the travel to Greece is being misused by the Police.
