Following the decision of the GJKKO court to lift the house arrest measure against the leader of the Albanian Democratic Party Sali Berisha, Top Channel’s Anila Hoxha has received an official reaction from the special prosecution SPAK on the procedures that will be followed and whether they will appeal the decision.
“After the Special Prosecution is familiar with the clarified decision of the Special Court of First Instance against Corruption and Organized Crime, it will continue the appeal procedure at the Special Court of Appeal,” the response says.
Meanwhile after the order of release the leader of the Democratic Party arrived at the DP headquarters, where he was enthusiastically welcomed by his supporters.
During his speech, Berisha said that the ‘biggest pyramid of fraud’ received the most fatal blow today.
“Dear friends. The largest pyramid of fraud in the history of European justice after World War II received its most fatal blow today! I greet every Albanian with the greatest gratitude.
“Today, Albania was illuminated by the first rays of the unstoppable return of democracy!
“Today is the day when the monsters of democracy PM Edi Rama and George Soros, finally failed. They failed in their attempt to destroy the Albanian opposition in the coup d’état they staged against it. We stood, stood and only stood for the truth and the values we believe in”, said Berisha, among other things.
