The Albanian Health Ministry has announced today that there are 20 new positive cases with Covid-19 in our country.
During the last 24 hours, an 85-year-old woman from Tirana lost her life in the Infectious Diseases Hospital, confirmed with COVID-19 and other concomitant diseases.
To date 34 citizens have not won the battle with COVID19 in Albania despite the efforts of medical staff.
10 new cases were discovered in Tirana, 3 in Shkodra, 3 in Kruja, 2 in Durres, 2 in Tropoja. The cases identified in the last 24 hours are family contacts and new cases discovered in the investigation process.
We currently have a re-infected health personnel after 3 months, i.e. infected for the second time, as a family contact. His health condition is stable.
In the last 24 hours, 15 citizens have recovered, bringing the number of recovered patients to 925 since the beginning of the epidemic.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection once again invites you to be careful about maintaining physical distance from each other, avoiding contacts like shaking hands or hugs, maintaining personal hygiene and avoiding gatherings.
