Coronavirus business closures ; Berat traders, protest in front of the municipality

Berat industrial market traders protested today in front of the municipality, demanding they be given the so-called ‘wage war’, announced by the government as a compensation for the workers forced out of work as a result of the coronavirus business closures.

This is the second time they protest in front of the Berat municipality.

After the protest, 20 traders’ representatives sat in a meeting with the mayor of Berat, Ervin Demo. The meeting is taking place without the presence of the media.
