The Council of Ministers decided to continue the project for building
the Southern 110 KW Ring and postpone the deadline of the loan with the
German Bank KFW.
According to the Minister of Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, this project will increase electric supply safety and will guarantee bigger efficiency of the system in the southern area.
“I have the pleasure to communicate another important Council of Ministers decision regarding the continuity of the Southern Ring and postponing the deadline with the KFW Bank. This is a very important decision of the Federal Republic of Germany, regarding the Southern Ring of the 110 KW power line. This investment will increase power supply safety and will guarantee higher efficiency in southern areas. This is part of the energy infrastructure projects that the Albanian government is completing”, Gjiknuri declared.
