Companies: “Property insurance in case of accidents should be compulsory”

After the injury of 18 passerby citizens in a sweet shop, insurance
companies say it should be compulsory to businesses to pay insurance in
case of accidents for their employees, and also the responsibility to
answer to third parties.
“The government issued an order for this 10 years ago, but no legal act has passed to make it compulsory”, says the president of Eurosig, Kadri Morina.
He adds that even though property insurance is voluntary, the responsibility to answer for the property of third parties should be compulsory through the insurance.
Ivan Matovic, from Evasan Travel Insurance, brings a Swiss method as an example, where if you rent a house, you are also responsible for third parties in case they are damaged because of your home.
