The leader of the Albanian Communist Party, Hysni Milloshi, died this Wednesday at 71.
He had been hospitalized at the Sanatorium Hospital for a pulmonary disease that took his life. Hysni Milloshi was born on 8 November 1941.
Even after the collapse of the communist regime, he kept defending fanatically the ideals of Albania’s former Communist dictator, Enver Hoxha, and the Party of Labor (communist party of the regime).
He was founder and First Secretary of the Communist Party of Albania, as successor of the party of Labor.
The Communist Party entered the recent local elections of May 2011, where he ran for Mayor of Tirana, against Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha from the two major parties.
