Italian singer Riccardo Cocciante arrived in Tirana on invitation of the
Ministry of Culture and the Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, in
sign of gratitude for the artistic victory of Elhaida Dani in the “Voice
of Italy” program, where she was declared winner.
Cocciante and Dani will meet today with Minister Zhiti, and this Saturday he will be decorated by the Albanian President.
“This is the first time that I come here and I am happy for this, but above all because I cooperated for something artistic between Albania and Italy. I have always thought that art and music should have no borders. The Italians were open-minded by choosing a very good singer, and for me this is a double award”, Cocciante declared.
