The Supreme State Audit has turned to the inspection for the
broadcasting of a TV advertisement on CNN duering 2008, paid by the
Ministry of Tourism.
The official notification of the Supreme State Audit says that the legal violations in this tender have been identified sine the report of 2008, but as the announcement says, the SSA director of that time has not sent the file to the Prosecution for subjective reasons.
The SSA has confirmed the legal violations, starting from the failure to pay the limit fund of 27 million ALL, and the failure to hold the tender for its broadcasting against the respective decision of the Council of Ministers.
By the end of the inspection, the SSA declared that six Ministry of Tourism officials of that time, one of which was General Director, and two other chiefs, have consumed the power abuse crime. The 37 million ALL advertisement that was contracted by the Ministry of Tourism was broadcasted on CNN for promoting Albania in the tourist market.
