CNN: Crime, after an argument with Afghan Police

CNN reported that the coalition forces were distributing paperwork to students in the area, appealing them to go to school.

The coalition forces, among who was the First Group of the Albanian Special Forces, were accompanying the USAID personnel in their efforts to open schools in the village.

To the same mission referred the Ministry of Defense a few hours after the event. According to the CNN, the conflict between the coalition forces and the Afghan Police started while they were distributing the paperwork. The Afghani police reacted with firearm against the coalition forces, which left the Albanian captain dead.

The Ministry of Defense official declaration did not clarify the motive why the Afghan Police opened fire towards the Albanian squad.

CNN raises its suspicions as regards the local police. According to them, this is the 42nd case when the local police kills or wounds members of the coalition forces, raising questions about the power transfer to these troops in 2014.

For a similar incident, four soldiers were killed in Afghanistan and France threatened to withdraw troops before the deadline.

Government, 1 minute silent for the soldiers

The Council of Ministers started the weekly meeting by keeping one minute of silence in honor of Captain Feti Vogli, killed in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Berisha visited the family of the wounded corporal, Aleksander Peci, and declared that his health conditions have improved and the information suggests that he will recover soon.

Valuing the noble mission that Alexander and his colleagues are realizing in Afghanistan, the Prime Minister declared that they are representing the Albanian nation with dignity.

Berisha presented to the relatives the condolences of the ISAF Commander, General John Allen, who expressed his appreciation for the ability of the Albanian soldiers in fulfilling their duties with success.
