Clinton congratulates Albanians

The State Secretary, Hillary Clinton, congratulated the Albanians for
the jubilee of the 100th anniversary of independence, and expressed once
again the need of the Albanian politics to pass the reforms and
guarantee free elections.
“From the foundation of a democratic republic, Albania has made great progress. Today Albania is ready to consolidate that victory and integrate in a Europe that is complete, free and at peace. But this demands the passing of the remaining reforms and free and transparent elections for the Spring of 2013, a further development of democracy and the modernization of Albania in order to answer to the needs of the Albanian people”, Clinton declared.
On behalf of President Barack Obama and the USA, Clinton brings the best wishes for the Albanian people on the Independence Day.
“While you celebrate with your family and your loved ones, you must know that the united states are a good partner and friend and we wish to continue our cooperation in the future”, Mrs. Clinton’s declaration concludes.
