The operation “Clean Beaches”, started from the Ministry of Defense, has
not finished the mission for cleaning the Vlore coastline from the WWII
missiles.
Another operation in cooperation with Dutch forces has started two days ago, which aims removing another quantity of missiles which might mount up to several tons.
Two Dutch divers, in cooperation with Albanian colleagues, have started working in the Albanian beaches.
The action aims to remove the missiles from their current location and destroy them at the Sazan Island.
