Social networks are turning each day more into the main stream for organizing civilian protests.
Such was today’s protest announced on Facebook by the Civil Society, inviting people to protest from the Rinia Park to the Prime Minister’s office.
Citizens protest against the arrest of 23 protesters who opposed the toll fee on the Nation’s Road.
The keyword during this protest was “Arrest me too”.
“It was announced on social networks and citizens were self-organized. It is the beginning for us and we didn’t expect 100,000 people”, said lawyer Adriatik Lapaj.
Activist Besjan Pesha said that they want to give the message that the revolt goes beyond Kukes.
The protesters were joined by Vivian Golemi, a student and technologic enthusiast.
“I am protesting against this arrogant government that is suffocating us with taxes”, Golemi decelared.
