Christmas in Elbasan

The Saint Mary Church in Elbasan held the Christmas mass. The
traditional mass was held by Father Nikolla Marku, who appealed for more
peace, love and solidarity between each other.

After the mass, in which there were representatives from the Red and Black Alliance, the leader of this political group valued Father Nikolla for his mission in preserving the independence of the Albanian Orthodox Church.

“Father Nikolla has been one of the strongest defenders of the Albanian Autocephalous Church, a church for which Archbishop Janullatos has no funds to cover the leaking roof. On Christmas, God gave his blessing to everyone. We are here today to show our solidarity to all Albanians”, Spahiu declared.
