Chicago, Afghanistan martyrs honored

State Leaders and Prime Ministers of 28 NATO member countries started
the Chicago summit with a commemoration ceremony for the Alliance
soldiers who fell in the line of duty.

This is a traditional ceremony where the world leaders honor the fallen soldiers, but this time it is more significant for Albania, since we honored the Albanian martyr, Feti Vogli, who was killed during an operation in Afghanistan.

This is the 25th NATO summit, but for Albania this is the second summit where it is represented as equal in one of most important meetings of international politics. After the membership in 2009, Prime Minister Berisha has represented Albania in the Lisbon summit, two years ago, and now in Chicago. When Albania was admitted in NATO with full rights, Berisha considered it as a miracle of freedom.
