Changing schooltexts

All school texts will completely change. Experts have noted that
subjects like math, grammar, physics and chemistry have had not only
unnecessary overloads, but even repetitiveness and incorrectness.

This has overloaded students who in most of the times have chosen private courses as a solution. The curricula director, Tidita Avduramaani, explains that they are working to change the program. “External evaluations showed that there is a conceptual overloading, not physical (number of hours), and some concepts have been repeated.”

But what are the main changes that will take effect, in order to adapt to the European Union? Avduramani explains: “Children take the first basic knowledge on natural science from a single book. This will avoid having too many programs and books”.

Teachers have noted that some texts have equations with more difficulties, and that it should be taught in high schools.

Ramazan Fejzo, President of the Shkolla e Kuqe, says: “We have had overloads in math, and this should change. We have had topics that in Europe are treated in high schools, while we have it in secondary schools”, he declared.

The Curricula Director declared that they are working to approach the Albanain textbooks with those of Kosovo. But every text should have alternatives for the altertext reform.
