“Chameria” organization in Turkey

The Party for Justice, Integration and Unity organized the Albanian
community of Chameria, who moved to Turkey 90 years ago, and created a
branch of the Chameria Association, which will serve for unification of
cultures.
The PJIU leader, Shpetim Idrizi, expressed his gratitude to this minority that has been able to preserve the Albanian language and traditions.
“Even in Parliament we are working for the Cham case. We are preparing a resolution in which the Albanian Parliament will express its historic need to work for the rights of the Cham Albanians. We are ready to support every ethnicity and nation that fights for its rights”, Idrizi declared.
Mr.Idrizi added that the creation of the Cham Association in Izmir is another step towards the unification of the Cham Albanians in order to preserve the best values of our national identity.
