CEZ: Our decision will not change

16/11/2012 00:00

CEZ explained that the power cuts are based on the law and that they
have full legal powers to cut energy to any private and public entity.

The society will not allow a situation where the debtors can use the electric power without paying it. The declaration says that the state police are pressuring their employees.

CEZ has been informed that the state police have been ordered to take under custody any CEZ employee that cuts the power supply from aqueducts.

CEZ asks the police to explain the existence of this order, which is arbitrary, abusive and a full violation of the law. CEZ also promises to follow all respective procedures by reporting any police employee for power abuse by hampering the activity of the company.

If the abusive and biased actions of the police are supported and organized by the authorities and other public institutions, they will be considered as an indirect form of expropriation, since the Police is illegally blocking the activity of this company and causing several damages.

The Company invites the ERE, the government and the state police to support their decisions for cutting power to debtors who have only made the situation worse for the honest consumers who pay normally.
