Electric power loss and wrong readings by billing agents are considered
by CEZ Company as the main cause that require a fast solution, in order
to fulfill the obligation for transparency to the consumer.
“Shqip” Newspaper says that CEZ has started a project for improving the accuracy of the network data, in order to monitor the power losses.
“The system data is a problem that has been inherited, and before executing this project, CEZ held a pilot project for receiving the necessary indications about the power movement from the source to the consumer. We noticed that the balance was not real”, CEZ declared.
The project for updating and balancing the data will expand in the entire electric power network, in order to avoid inaccurate calculations.
As for the billing agents, CEZ aims to improve the service by increasing their supervision. 100 hundred billing agents will be accompanied by a manager on terrain. CEZ has fired 50 of them and 200 others are possible targets, due to the power reading mistakes.
CEZ will have a full report about the situation on February, based on the respective managers’ reports. CEZ is determined to take any measures and replace any employee that results problematic or corrupted.
40% of the client complaints are for inaccurate readings of electricity consumption.
