CEZ fined with 30 million ALL

CEZ, the Czech Company that manages the power distribution in
Albania, was fined by the Ministry of Economy with 30 million ALL over
equipping consumers with unverified energy meters.
The Ministry says that although CEZ had been warned several times by the Directory of Metrology, they have failed to take the necessary measures.
The investigation of the Directory of Metrology started after many consumers complained for being penalized by this situation, which the Ministry verified on terrain.
The Ministry has also warned the company that owns distribution monopoly in Albania of facing stronger penalties if they will not undertake quick measures for putting the situation under control.
