Central Bank Supervisory Council at Prosecution

Six members of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania were
called in Prosecution regarding the theft scandal investigations.

Member Ermelinda Meksi has to appear first. According to the Prosecution, she has asked twice the firing of Ardian Fullani.

After her, the Prosecution will have an interview with Ela Golemi. Other members who have to file a declaration next Monday are Dhori Kule, Petraq Milo, Elisabeta Gjoni and Ardian Civici.

Official sources say that the six member will be asked about the legal initiatives that they have taken about the functionality of the department that was stolen, how they have completed their duty based on the regulations and procedures.

The Prosecution warned that the members would be taken by the police if they didn’t show up.

17 people have been arrested so far for the theft of 713 million USD. Others might be arrested in the next two weeks, according to some unofficial voices.
