The Socialist Party introduced this weekend the new names that will run for them on the June 23rd elections.

The opposition leader, Edi Rama, declared that after some refusals in the past, the former Central Election Commission Chairman, Ilirian Celibashi, had finally joined the Socialist Party.

“We can all see how our opponents are after us. They lost their battle in the sectors of poverty, unemployment and national debt. They lost the battle of corruption. A new renowned name joins today our national team. Everyone remembers him as the man who guaranteed with professionalism and strong civil will the only change of powers in Albania that was made peacefully: Ilirjan Celibashi. I am happy that after refusing a couple of times, now he is ready to contribute in our team”, Rama declared.

Celibashi added that the invitation to join the SP was made not only by Rama, but also by other friends from the left parties

“I want to appeal the citizens to vote the Socialist Party as the best alternative for the next four years”.
