With 4 votes in favor and 2 against, the Central Election Commission
approved the legal act for opening the remaining ballot boxes, as
ordered by the Electoral College. The counting process is expected to
start today at 17:00.
CEC Chairman Arben Ristani declared that the counting process will start with the boxes that have fewer ballots. According to the act, eight CEC Assisting Groups will perform the counting process. Each group will have two CEC administration member, and two observers from each political force.
CEC created the list of the boxes that will be opened, in base of which the procedure will be followed. The 117 already counted boxes were removed from the list. The groups will vocally declare the results, before writing down the tabulations of each box. CEC will later make the tabulation, adding the new found miscast ballots, if there will be any, to the general result.
