CEC continues Shkoder recount

The recount in these 45 ballots confirmed the old result, rejecting this way the claim of the Republican Party that their votes had been manipulated.

While the Central Election Commission continued with this procedure, the Electoral College started reviewing the Socialist Party’s request to stop the recount and consider it illegal, since the action was decided by the Central Election Commission with only four members.

For the same request in Lezhe the college declared that the procedure for reviewing the appeals from the Central Election Commission is absolutely invalid. The same decision is expected to be taken for Shkoder. In this request the Socialist Party has added another point. They ask the Electoral College to declare the final result of Shkoder, since the deadline of 10 days has expired.
