Casinos and gambling games have been the cause of many murders or other criminal acts in Tirana. The Municipality has decided to concentrate all of them in the suburbs of the city.
The Tirana Municipality has established a team that is studying a single area that would include all gambling games in Tirana.
This group will propose the Municipal Council to establish a special fee for gambling games. On the other hand, there will be restrictive measures for the staff employment I the premises where the appliances will open, and the reconstruction of the infrastructure in the area where they will be established.
Sources from the Tirana Municipality say that these measures aim to have a better monitoring of this activity and stop the social problems created by it, together with the criminality.
