The Prosecution of Elbasan suspended the case against Judge Gjon Gjoni
nad his wife Elona Caushi regarding “falsification of documents” and
“refuse to declare, fail to declare, hide or make a false declaration of
assets”.
This decision, according to the Prosecution, has come after the Court of First Instance and that of the Appeal decided in February 12nd to not allow another postponing. This request was made by the Prosecution since no answer has arrived after May 2nd 2014 regarding the letters sent to France and Germany.
“The Prosecution has sent memos through the Ministry of Justice to request legal assistance, but no answer has been received”, the Prosecution says.
