Car fines can be checked online

Car fines can now be seen online, on the State Police public web page.
The Traffic Director, supported by ICITAP and after a series of
complaints coming from citizens, has decided to post the administrative
measures online.

The police have guarded the personal data by publishing on the car plate and the chassis number.

“The state police has also posted the due payments for old fines. You can click on the State Police online web page and click “Check fines”, at the “Citizen Service”. By clicking on this link, the citizens are automatically connected with the electronic administration system that provides the unpaid obligations of all citizens throughout Albania”, declared Klejda Plangarica.

The Police Spokesperson published the measures that have been taken on the verge of the tourist season. The report for administrative violation of foreign citizens will be sent to the diplomatic representations, while for Kosovo, to the General Police Directory of Kosovo.
