An unidentified person named Leonard Cezari was seriously wounded this
Saturday in Tirana, after a considerable amount off explosive blew up
inside his car.
The bomb exploded while Cezari was driving near the Unaza e Re underpass, close to Tirana’s zoo entrance.
The vehicle kept moving for several metres and crashed against the surrounding wall of Tirana’s zoo. Passers by and local residents notified the police and the injured man was urgently sent to hospital.
Several police forces rushed at the scene and the investigations are ongoing. The first doubts are that the explosion was caused by a considerable amount of explosive that blew up while the vehicle was moving.
