Former captain Lorik Cana officialized his resignation from the National
Team through a post on Facebook, saying it was the right time to do it.
“As announced after Euro 2016, I decided to withdraw from the National Team. I think it was the right time, after the biggest achievement in the history of Albanian sport”, Cana writes.
Cana has played 93 matches with the Albanian national team, and he closed it by realizing one of the biggest dreams, being part of an international tour.
