The Tirana Hospital Center started an awareness campaign for blood
donation, to avoid delays for children suffering from thalassemia or in
simple operations that need donated blood.
The staff of the Tirana Hospital Center has donated blood, asking other institutions to join this initiatieve for saving someone in difficulty, who might be any of us or our relative.
There are 500 kids in Albania suffering from thalassemia, who will live only if they will change their blood every three days.
