The General Chief of Police, Haki Cako, met with the Korca police
structures. He said that there is a coordination plan and the police
will not be scared by terrorist video messages.
“An important priority is partnership against terrorism. We are looking for more attention on all structures. We are determined to implement the law, to produce public order and security for all citizens, without fearing terrorist video messages”, Cako declared.
As for the local elections, Cako said there will be a reaction in real time and the law will be implemented against anyone who tries to damage the electoral process.
“The police has no option. This is not a race. The State Police implements the law. We are determined to punish any police officer who will be implicated in politics, regardless the sides. There is an order from the Minister of Interior to increase the response time to crime, the cultivation of narcotics, reaction in real time and a correct implementation of the law against anyone who tries to damage the electoral process”, Cako declared.
