Gent Cakaj, the acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, held a press release with the President of the OSCE, Miroslav Lajcak, and spoke about this Sunday’s protest.
Cakaj said that the opposition’s violence doesn’t contribute to Albania’s integration in the EU, although the country has progressed with the reforms.
“The report of the European Commission specifies that Albania needs to determine a status for its European future. Our challenge is to translate the Commission’s evaluation into political will”, the Albanian Chief diplomat said.
