During his visit to Vienna, the acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, met with the Foreign Minister of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg.
In this meeting, they discussed the main priorities of the Albanian OSCE leadership during 2020.
The counterparts also discussed the joint commitments as regards security and democratic developments.
The integration process was also included in the discussion.
“We talked about the necessity of opening the EU accession negotiations with Albania and Northern Macedonia during this year.
“We are especially grateful to the great support that Austria has given to Albania in its commitment with the OSCE and the EU integration process”, Cakaj wrote on social networks.
Both Cakaj and Schallenberg underlined once again that Kosovo has fulfilled its obligations for receiving the visa liberalization.
