Bust tickets price increased to 50 ALL

One day after the head of the Transportation Association demanded a price increase for the tickets, the citizens have seen a notification on buses, warning them that the ticket will cost to 20 ALL more after February 1st.

The transportation companies are not allowed to change the prices without the approval from the Municipality, and without discussing it first with the interest groups and an approval from the Council of Ministers. However, the company has increased the price by violating the law”, according to “Shqip” newspaper.

Although the Mayor has declared that all abusers will be penalized, the notifications have caused dissatisfaction among the citizens.

The Transportation Association pretends that whoever that drinks one coffee and pays it 100 ALL, the 70 ALL ticket price is not high. On the other hand, the minimal wage in Tirana remains 1750 ALL.
