Business complains: We are almost bankrupt

“It’s getting each day worse”. “After we pay the Municipality’s taxes,
nothing remains for us”. These were the main complaints of vendors at
the Municipal Unit 4 in Tirana. When meeting with the Socialist MPs
Fatmir Xhafaj and Ilir Beqja, the vendors have only one answer: an
extreme deterioration of their businesses.

The decreased buying power, the debt lists of their clients and the difficulty to face taxes is the refrain that vendors repeat.

After sharing the same concern for the economic crisis, the SP representatives told them that this situation is just a matter of months, because, according to them, when the SP will come to power, the first act in the next September will be removal of small business taxes.

“We are committed to remove the small business tax package on the next September. There are 70.000 families that live by the small business. The first thing to do is the revitalization of the economy and the increase of family consumption that will also increase the demand, as result”, Beqja declared.

During this visit, an employee of this Municipal Unit served as a photographer.

“That photographer and those debt lists are the symbol of this government, of the poverty and violence it is using each day on the vendors who are facing the pain and the pressure of the state upon them”, MP Fatmir Xhafaj declared.

Xhafaj added that Berisha’s government must leave as soon as possible with the Albanian’s vote, because the difficult economic situation, the pressure and the violence to citizens has reached extreme levels.
