Businesses demand the merging of the Appeal Directory at the Tax Office,
since this structure does not resolve the issues addressed by the tax
payers.
The Taxpayers Advocate, Artur Papajani, says that only 5% of appeals were ruled in favor of businesses.
“This is an excessive link that brings a new cost for businesses. This is an administrative cost, because you need to freeze money to make an appeal that the answer is known. Only 5% have been in favor of businesses. This is the reason why wherever I have represented businesses, I have asked to merge the Directory of Administrative Appeal and let businesses go to courts”, Papajani declared.
Another concern of the business is that of double tax inspections.
“I suggest that if you see people like this coming at your businesses for inspections, without anything to show to you, close the door and make a complaint at their office”, Papajani declared.
This issue was discussed at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
